Jessica Adanich, the owner and lead designer of DesignPod Studio joined the board of The Women's Outdoor Media Association (WOMA). WOMA is a collaboration of women who publicize and promote these activities through their involvement in print, social, and educational media. Founded in 2009 by Deb Ferns, they continue to highlight and encourage women in outdoor sports.
According to the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), women in shooting activities, including hunting and sanctioned competition, are the fastest-growing segment within the firearms / outdoor industries in the United States. It is also noted that they are drastically under-represented which makes it a challenge to become engaged and evolved.
"It’s truly an extreme honor to be asked and to serve on a board alongside so many other extraordinary females in the outdoors and firearms industry. Each member is an inspiration and incredibly talented in various ways. I'm excited to be able to bring my expertise and talents to the table to join WOMA's mission and vision." said Jessica Adanich.
The WOMA's mission is dedicated to encouraging women in the outdoor endeavors of shooting sports, archery, fishing, and hunting. Their vision is "Through our sponsorships and annual charity event, She Never Quit, we foster community and leadership."
